Problem Presented: Building a Single Destination for a Variety of Needs

Creating a single hub that incorporated all the features the client needed posed a significant challenge due to the diverse array of resources and the need for a user-friendly yet robust system. Maintaining and improving such a critical application creates quite a bit of overhead and at times, a lengthy development backlog.

Additionally, with exponential user growth, expanding assets, and evolving technology and security needs, maintaining a premier resource hub was crucial for optimal user experience and architecture.

We worked from the ground up, partnering with stakeholders to collaborate on roadmapping, planning, and design for all new features and critical platform updates.

Since 2012, EP+Co has strategically built and evolved a multi-faceted enterprise solution built on top of mature, industry standard frameworks that include .NET Core and React JS. In addition to these core technologies, our team fully embraced Amazon Web Services (AWS) to ensure the platform could seamlessly scale to meet usage demands in a cost effective way.

Working closely with Verizon’s product owner, we created an ongoing, long-term roadmap that marries strategic business needs, extensive data gleaned from robust sitewide tracking analytics, and new industry technology, leading to the development of many impactful features ranging from a robust AI-powered search experience to a highly tuned recommendation engine powered by machine learning.

In combination with insights from real customer feedback, the result has been an intuitive, robust experience that makes our users’ lives easier, every day.
